Weapons of Time (installation)

Weapons of Time is designed as a pre-performance installation appealing to both passer- byers outside the theater and the accumulating audience inside. (flexible depending on venue) Totaling three dancers revolving on circular platforms in long garments slowly making gestures each working with a significant prop. The props include a lantern (to guide), a rock (to protect), and a book (to learn). This installation was inspired by a poem by Gwendolyn Brooks and by travels in Turkey.
