The Shedding

The Shedding focuses on the physical and emotional transformations humans go through over the course of their lives and the difficulty we experience in stripping away habits and inhibitions. Six dancers emerge from fabric cocoons to explore a new environment; some help each another, others struggle alone. The dancers peel, "ooze" out of, and cast away the layers of their inner selves, gradually unearthing a pure self-awareness and freedom.
