Dandia

This dance constructed for use in our family audience’s program is based onthe Indian folk dance Dandia, meaning stick. This upbeat work utilizes sticksthroughout and concludes with audience participation at the end. Artistic Director Valerie Green learned this dance in India in February 09 during a teachingresidency.
